Marking International Peace Day

On the 21st September 2015 , International Peace Day Al Sadiq and Al Zahra Schools and the Khoei Foundation welcomed more than 50 residents from the Queen’s Park Residents Association (QPARA) marking the end of a year long project about Queen’s Park. There was a real ‘warming’ atmosphere amongst the residents, some of whom had misconceptions which were alleviated and they were very impressed with the interfaith work and outreach work that the schools and Khoei Foundation are engaged with. The morning ended with a delicious lunch which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! Tulip Siddiq initiated the event at the London Interfaith Centre who organised the whole project and representatives from Islamia Schools were also present.
